Why "Something Good?"

Hi Friends,

In a world full of negativity and heartbreak, we are left searching for more.

More money. More friends. More love. More GOOD.

As I was thinking of what to call this new site, I started to look forward to the new year. There are a lot of "firsts" happening to me in 2020 and it is very easy for me to be afraid. While I adapt to change well, I do not like it. I'm graduating from college. I'm (hopefully) starting to work full-time. I'm becoming an adult. I'm excited and also slightly terrified.

In the midst of my fear, the hope that I am clinging to in all of this is that God has a plan for me. He is molding me into the woman that He created me to be. Every day is a new opportunity to seek peace throughout this life. In every little thing, there is something good.

Creating this blog is my way of being transparent and vulnerable to those who are right there with me. I don't know what God has planned for my life, but until then, I'll just write.
